Sandile Mduduzi Xulu CA (S.A.), RA: Managing Director

Sandile is a member of the SA Institute of Chartered Accountants, Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors, the Institute of Internal Auditors South Africa and the Institute of Directors in the Southern Africa. He has a working career spanning over 17 years. He has worked on various audit assignments and gained extensive experience both in private and public sector as well as tax assignments where he provided tax opinion on corporate and employees tax.

He also has financial reporting experience gained in one of the big four financial institutions. Sandile was also a part-time tutor to third year students at the University of South Africa between 2007 and 2008 and was also the external marker for Accounting I.

He was the director in a medium size advisory and auditing firm, Sekela and later moved on to establish SM Xulu, an assurance, advisory and tax firm.

He is the chairperson of the Audit & Risk Committee at Council for Geoscience.

Nonhlanhla Xulu: Director – Advisory

Nonhlanhla Xulu joined SM Xulu in 2019 as Director: Advisory Services. She is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors South Africa with a working career spanning over 15 years which started at MSGM in 2001. She later joined PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2003 and moved to the South African Revenue Services in 2010. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce: Risk Management; Certificate in Performance Auditing (UNISA), and SARS Senior Management Development Programme Certificate from the Rhodes University and DUKE University.

Through the various assignments, different positions and roles of responsibilities held, she has comprehensive assurance experience on Governance, Risk and Compliance matters both in private and public sector. In addition to her vast experience in Internal Audit, she is a specialist in Performance Auditing and the Audit of Predetermined Objectives (AoPO). She has worked with the Auditor General on the AoPO reviews where she was the champion at SARS.

During her employment at SARS, she received three Amakhwezi award for service excellence between 2014, 2015 and 2018



Sarudzai Mangono CA (S.A.), RA: Director

Sarudzai is a Chartered Accountant and also a Registered Auditor with IRBA. She completed her articles at KPMG in March 2011. She has experience in various industries in the private sector and the public sector.

She has previously worked at Rakoma and Associates Inc and Ubucule Inc in a management position.

She has also worked at Grant Thornton as a Senior Manager at their Assurance department: Public sector audits. She was responsible for the planning, execution and finalisation of audits of municipalities, departments and public entities.

Sarudzai joined our firm as a Senior Manager at the Assurance department in October 2014.

She has recently been promoted into an Associate Director role within the Assurance Services.
